Biography
Zandra Koopman has been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years, primarily with the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI). Since spring 2018 she has been in the role of Clinical Nurse Educator in the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit and the Regional Referral Centre. She has a strong interest in education, which is why she completed her Master of Nursing in 2020 with a Focus in Teaching from Athabasca University. Women’s Heart Health has always been an interest of hers, and she has been involved with the development of orientation tools surrounding Women’s Heart Health for RNs at UOHI.
