Biography
I am Cassie Chisholm, Director of Cardiac and Critical Care with Eastern Health. I began as a Physiotherapist and have since moved through a number of positions in the health care system in both NS and NL including recent roles as Director of Primary Health Care and Director of eHealth with the Department of Health and Community Services in NL. I have a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology and substantial experience in health policy and program development, change management, and process improvement.
Aside from my professional activities, I am a mother of three girls, a daughter, and a woman with a heart (literally and figuratively). These make me passionate about women’s heart health. I believe the collective wisdom of activated individuals working in health care delivery and those with lived experience can solve any problem, if properly harnessed. I am delighted to apply my own skills, experience, and energy to women’s heart health.
