Biography
Molly Crandall received her BSc. in Biology with a focus in Cellular, Molecular, andDevelopmental Biology at the University of Manitoba.During her undergraduate degree, shecompleted a summer project that focused on circadian sex-differences within the heart at theInstitute of Cardiovascular Sciences(ICS)in the St. Boniface Research Centre which is where herinterest in women’s heart health began.Molly is now pursuing a MSc. at the University ofManitobain Physiology and Pathophysiologywhere herresearchfocuses on circadian-regulatedcardiometabolic functionand cellular quality control mechanisms within cardiac tissue in a sex-specific manner.
