Biography

Hi, my name is Louise Cholock RN MN, and I am a Registered Nurse as well as a survivor of two cardiac events (NSTEMIs).  Almost my entire career has been made up of various roles in a community health setting working with Indigenous clients, communities, and organizations.

I have extensive experience doing literature reviews, writing documents including the development of presentations, media lines, briefing notes and other written products. I also have experience working on committees made up of stakeholders as well as government (both federal and provincial) representatives. Lastly, I have experience in facilitating learners as well as tutoring students in an educational setting.

Since my retirement I have been looking for a volunteer experience where I can meld both my professional experiences as well as my real-life learnings from my experiences with the health care system and volunteering for the Alliance is one way for me to accomplish this.
