Biography
My name is Deeksha Kapur, and I am currently in my fourth year at the University of Toronto, double majoring in Neuroscience and Nutritional Sciences with a minor in Physiology. I am extremely keen to enroll in the Lawrence S. Bloomberg School for Nursing once I graduate in 2022 and hope to be part of the CWHHA in hopes to learn and grow more in an advocacy and knowledge translation environment, specifically related to women’s cardiac health.
I am currently a clinical research trainee working under the supervision of Dr. Monica Parry at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and I am hoping to bring my unique perspective and my knowledge to this community, in hopes to be able to achieve advocacy work for women’s health.
